Air Canada loses lawsuit...lol

The company lost a lawsuit over a stewardess failing to speak the required 'mother tongue'.

It's company policy for workers to be able to use English or French when requested.  In this case, a baggage announcement was made solely in English.  Also, the couple that sued were unable to find someone that was able to speak French on the flight.

The couple are fluent in both languages.  Sticklers for their native tongue, and completely asinine to boot, they were awarded money because it's company policy.  And they've done something similar in the past.

They attempted to sue for $500,000 Canadian, but managed somewhere around $12,500 American.

Oh, America's Hat.
